Will any of the main guys be coming over to Ireland for a test run on any of the local rallies before next January? Didn't Citroen take part in Cork two years ago?

The only one that makes sense for them to come over for is Galway which should be 2 weeks before Rally Ireland next year.

Last year Gronholm came to Galway, Loeb came to Donegal, and Loeb, Citroen and Hirvonen came to Cork. They were coming cause none of them had any info on Irish rallying conditions. They don't need to any more, so they won't come.
WRC next year is before Galway.

I wouldn't think so. Since the rally is bein held around the same area they more than likely have all the info they need from last years rally!

Galway are getting the weekend of Jan 17th/18th for next year, 2 weeks before Rally Ireland.

No one has really run a Subaru S14 or a Suzuki (if they last till then) on Irish tar before in any meaningful manner. It's entirely probable that there will be works entries for Galway.

I'd definately say that we'll see some works teams there. Maybe not citroen but subaru??
All the usual Irish lads will be out in force anyway for the first event of the year.
