I have a quote for a Dell Inspiron PC that will be used for home use, email, browsing and kids stuff. The deal is costing 569 euro and I was wondering is it worth it or are there better deals out there? Since the PC wont be used for much more than the above I think it probably is ok but was just wondering?

    Thanks for your help!

try out the outlet www.dell.ie/outlet might get a better deal for same kit
stock list updates every 15 mins, so bookmarking a system may not be any use to you. It's basically a online store for returned kit (i.e. when the delivered order was incorrect, or the buyer changed their mind)

Thanks Mate, went with the original deal after all. When you added monitors and stuff there wasnt much in it for what the PC is needed for.
    Cheers.

I regularly get asked about what would be the best spec to go for.. I'd always say to someone, figure out your budget and you can usually dig about for a good deal from there once you know the budget. you're ideally looking for something that will last 3 years at least..

You have a decent CPU there and 2Gb RAM (2 x 1Gb) is a good route to take, means you can upgrade to 4 at a later stage and it won't break the bank. RAM prices are falling something savage.
