Ann and Barry got into a spot of bother with the law. :/ Probably because it was a simpler time with kids being happy enough with jam on toast, a football and an odd but of telly. Now they have too much and can't be kept happy.

I was just talking about these books the other day. They were great.

Mammy doing all the housework and Daddy doing the garden didn't go down well with PC campaigners!
Great books though, hard to get your hands on a copy all the same

I remember the past tense was used when they visited the zoo. The other books were written in the present. Brings back good memories as well. :)

'Bran' was a 'hopscotch' reading book about a black poodle I think. Dunno if it was irish or english. That's a long time ago-mid to late seventies I'd imagine.

I think it's safe to assume that after all the cakes and jam Anne and Barry scoffed over the years they would now be a pair of real porkers.
