Which MP3 Player to buy?

    Looking to buy a new mp3 player in the e100 - e300 range. Would like one with a decent amount of storage (at least 16gigs) and maybe video playback.

    I like the look of the archos 605 wifi hard drive player, but they look very big compared to whats on offer these days. Does anybody have one? What are the features like?

    I've had a few different creative's over the years, which i really like, but they only seem to last 9 months before they break for one reason or another. The guys in all the shops say that its just bad luck and creativevs are normally really reliable. Am i just cursed or are they a bit dodgy.

    I've had one creative for several years..the old Zen, even got runover and still fine!2nd one i got as old zen very bulky and its been going nearly a year without a hitch.

    Think yours have been unlucky as everyone I know with one has lasted a good while.

    Dont know much about players currently out as I dont keep up to date, though the new creative X-fi one looks pretty good.

    I have been looking at the classic alright, but i've heard that the sound quality is poor compared to creative etc (although not sure whether it is really all that noticeable). Also, you can't play wma files (a lot of my downloaded music is wma - all legal of course) and isn't there meant to be issues to itunes on some computers?

    I do like the look of the zen x-fi but does anybody know when its coming out? I can't even get a release date on the creative website.

    Its on Pixmania now, from €150 for 8gb to €270 for 32gb. also when looking the other day there was a sale on the creative website, 8gb was €139 so if wasn't out when you looked it must have only just come out.

    I had the old Creative Zen touch and the headphone jack broke just after it went out of warranty, so I switched to a 30GB Ipod. I far prefer the Ipod, although the screen is really too small for watching videos, so I imaging it wouldn't compare to an Archos for video.

    Also, Archos have just released new models, so you should have a look at their site if you are considering one.
