taken from pats site Richie Sadlier Ceo I guess its to do with the fact some fans went directly to ryan air site and booked flights for the 18th Its now confirmed for the 16th @kdjaCL how many fans are affected by this,you being one of them.

While we are reluctant to set a precedent, and are aware compensating fans for changing fixture dates is not done elsewhere, we would like to make a gesture to supporters as a sign of our appreciation for their support, particularly in previous rounds of this year’s UEFA Cup.
