    from Seamus on that thread:
    Golfworks liquidation sale, 4th - 7th September

I'm not sure if liquidation sales have any kind of cheaper prices, but as some know, Golfworks is gone into liquidation and all their stock is up for sale in their Lucan shop (beside Woodies, across the road from the Foxhunter) this Thursday to Sunday, 9.30 to 6.00...

I'd say what's listed on their website will be there:

    http://www.golfworks.ie/

Don't think you're right there. The Lucan store has had little or no stock for months now so I'd say its a ll the stores combined. I'm just back and the place was full of certain types of stock - wet gear, putters, irons, woods.

All their branded gear (Ping, Titleist, etc.) has 30% knocked off while their COLT stuff has a 50% reduction. I picked up a pair of Dryjoys for €110 and a pair of Euro Tour wetgear bottoms for €40.

Any clothes (Shirts, Trousers), balls, gloves in stock?

Thinking about heading down but not looking for clubs or shoes

Yes, they have shirts there. I wasn't on the look out for trousers and didn't notice any but they be there also. No balls, and it seemed like there was only mens right-handed gloves left. They have a selection of Lyle & Scott sweaters left. A few navy and grey, but mostly pink & orange, etc.

Scheise. Just tried the wet bottoms on and the stitching in the legs is all over the place. They're not aligned properly with the ar$e/goolie area (sorry, I'm not in the trade :D) and are very uncomfortable. Will have to pay them another visit this afternoon to see if I can get an exchange/refund. Shoes are very comfortable.

don't know if anybody has mentioned it but they are only taking cash for anything bought, had a few things in hand today to buy until I realised I had nothing on me...

illegal not to accept credit or debit cards? why?

It's pretty standard for anywhere that is closing down, auctions etc.

It's not legal tender, so therefore no.
