Help choosing laptop!

Hi guys, I'm thinking of buying a new laptop and would appreciate some suggestions/advice. My budget is about 750 euro, and I'd like something portable (about 14") with XP, not Vista, and 2GB of memory. I'd be mainly using it for internet/some light gaming and programming. Nothing too intensive. Preferably something pretty sturdy, but not too heavy. I've had a look through the Dell site but am a bit lost. Is 750 enough for something like this or am I looking at spending more? Thanks!

Edit: Forgot to say, wifi is a must. Probably pretty standard these days anyway!

Well for programming theres no longer an issue in vista. Yes, I did have that problem last year but fortunately Visual Studio caught up with their cross compatibility. As for gaming your performance would probably be no worse off in Vista than XP.

As for 32/64 bit, thats a good question. I dont know what the situation is there in regard to programming.

Whether the Dell Business section still has XP laptops I have no idea but you could always take a look. 750 eur probably won't get you running Crysis or anything but you can still play the odd game or two.
