Are you talking about the 3 x 3.5 mm jack cable or individual speaker cable. Either way Maplin is your best bet.

You can buy speaker cable by the metre.

They have a store besides Smyths toystore in town just off of Parnell street.

I ended up buying one from Creative for my Audigy, but still use it for my X-fi. The outputs on the soundcard are very close together, cables you buy in Maplin will need modifying as they won't fit in the outputs. Look for cables with the narrowest collars on the 3.5mm jack plugs.

    This will work

    This wont

im trying to extend the cable that goes between the sound card and the sspeaker sub... im getting the megaworks 750s / titanium x-fi

    @ PogMoThoin

what do you think about the no 2 + no 3 pins on the sound card side? can a cable be bought or made to suit that type of connector (is that an industry standard or creatives own doing?). Then again i could just extend the other side of the cable (the one with the 4 connectors)

    @ Overheal

would i be more exposed to getting degradation seen as its between the sound card and the amp and the not amp and the speakers?

whats the norm for signal degradation???

    Thanks in advance!
