    So I'm tryin to instal Virtual Dj onto my laptop until I get this pop up window(see pic below)

    Untitled-1-1.jpg

    I went to my c drive and deleted over 9k of stuff and still it pops up.
    Why do I have to have space in my e drive when the installer is on my desktop and I am installing onto my laptop? What has the cd got to do with anything now??

    it depends how many drives you have

    usually A:\ is floppy drive

    C:\ Hard Drive

    D:\ a second hard drive if partioned or D:\ the CD (or DVD or whatever) Drive

    E:\ a CD drive if you have more than one Hard drive

    F:\ second disk drive

    My PC is

    a:\ floppy

    C:\ Hard drive 1

    D:\ Hard drive 2

    E:\ DVD

    F:\CD-ROM

    It also has G, H and I for card readers

    Whats the path you are trying to install to? You don't accidentally have E instead of C do you?

    Looks like a CRACKED version your trying to install, :confused:

    Anyway, from the message on screen the program is telling you that the error is with Drive E:, not C:
    Go to My computer and check your drive letters, clear up drive E:

    Drive E is just my empty Cd Rom disc that I have in.
    Virtual dj Is ON the desktop, I dont know why it is referring to my E drive?

    See Pic:

    could you try putting a blank disc into E to trick the program?

    Also, you said you deleted 9K of info to make space. The program is looking for over 9000K of space freed up.

    It should give you the option of where to store it when the installation begins.

    If it doesn't, then I don't know what to tell you.

    9k = 9,000

    1K = 1000
    9K = 9000
    9784K = 9,784,000

    According to your screenshots anyway...

    It says 9,784K bytes which is 9784KBs

    Which is practically 10 mb.
    I deleted like 2 gigs.

    It probably is corrupt seeing as it is a cracked version off a torrent site.

    I am not disagreeing with you but the thing is that it worked on my p.c so obviously there is something wrong with my laptop.

    Maybe I should make a new thread in the Laptop Forum because there, laptop experts can help me.

    Seeing as it is illegal cracked software you won't get any help there anyway.
