Just so as i have this right, you were given a quote for € 10000 by your dentist here, would i be right in guessing that this involved multiple crowns/bridges/root treatments/implants etc?. now you are telling us you had all this treatment in the course of a 5 day holiday. You are an extremely brave person and I suspect you got what you paid for. i hope you get better long term value from your apartment than you do from your 5day teeth. Please post some close up pictures/x rays of the arrangement and appearance of your teeth, your dentist will be happy to take these and burn them on a disc for you.

Can I ask where you got the name of the Turkish dentist, was he recommended or did you find him on the net - interested in getting work done, but really cannot afford it here

I did have it well looked into I have a friend there who knew them and also had some work done i had 8 crowns and some other work no root treatments. I have a before and after photo if I knew how to upload them.I spent 3 full days 9am -5pm in the dental clinic that is why it was so fast.Davo I have met Irish people who have had the same work done in 5 days and it now 9 years on so if I get that length of time out of them I will be happy. RAFC I will email you the link to the dentist tomorrow.

I'm very interested in hearing people's experiences and opinions about expedited dental work.

The two obvious worries I would have about it are that some necessary work might be skipped in order to get the work done in a fixed time frame, or that something that needs to heal isn't given the proper time to before subsequent treatment.

In relation to the first, failing to properly treat gum disease or a root canal infection for example will just lead to more problems further down the road.

In relation to the second, implants for example are supposed to be allowed to bed into the jaw for three to six months before the abutment and crown are fitted. However, I have heard of places using computer aided placement that can fit the implant and crown over the course of a day or two.

Has anyone here had something go wrong because of expedited treatment?

Seemingly Chris Hitchens got his teeth replaced in a day.

    possibly all crowns.

My dental work was straight forward so I was lucky enough. I am very pleased with the work and have no problems atall. It take time to get use to the crowns I feel like I have a fine set of delph in my mouth lol.The hygiene was second to none I think this is a worry with many people.
