    In practically all movies, whenever zombies finds someone and catch them, said person is usually ripped to pieces...

    So that being said, why's there always countless zombies that manage to chase down people, in the most part - whole ?

    They get ripped apart because they struggle. If you merely get infected you'll still be intact enough to attack others.

    Also, they're movies. Suspend disbelief.
