Shopping for a new bass head

Since my GK Backline 600 blew its power amp almost a year ago, I've been getting by with borrowing friend's amps/heads, but now that I have some cash, I'm in the market for something new. Something to work with my GK BLX115 and 210 cabs...

I've mainly been interested in tube heads, but don't think I will ever have any need for an all-tube head, so I was looking at hybrids instead. The first that I noticed was the Ashdown ABM500 but from what I can tell from its specs, it only has one 1/4" output (correct me on this). Another choice is the marshall MB450H, but since I'm not trying before I buy, I don't think I could really trust a marshall. What caught my eye tonight was the GK Fusion 550. While the product spec looks pretty tasty, I can't find many reviews online, but the ones I did find were quite favourable.

My budget is €600-700, but will throw in some extra cash if it is worth it. I am not restricting myself to a hybrid, so can be convinced otherwise, but I do want to use (take advantage but not blow) my existing 8ohm cabs.

    Opinions?

Correct - one 1/4" and one Speakon connection for running cabs parallel. Still got my ABM Evo 300 (the original one), still not a trendy amp, still loud enough, still works, still sounds good, still got no intition of changing it. Judas101 is selling his EvoII 500W on adverts, might be worth checking out. Their EQ section isn't the best, though it's better than some, but I just bypass the EQ anyway so it's not a big deal to me.

BTW, I've never heard a good sounding Marshall bass amp. Never.

Maplins sell Speakon to 1/4" convertors if you're worried about that.
