When you become 23 are you entitled to go to college without the use of CAO/Points Systems. Right?

So could somebody apply to do like Pharmacy in TCD without having the necessary points?

Would you have to pay full fees?

Moved to Mature & Non-Traditional Students - probably a more appropriate forum JohnG18.

Well they would like to see some form of academic study, preferably related to Science usually in the last 3-4 years. They might still require you to have studied physics/chemistry/biology at Leaving Cert level. But it all depends on the applicant as mature applicants are individually assessed in most universities. And the requirements differ from each university. You'll need to show your interest in the profession by doing work experience and they'll look at your work history and hobbies/interests to get an understanding of the type of person you are.

If you haven't studied at third level on a degree or diploma level you will not have to pay fees. But if you have already completed or partically completed a degree course you'll have to pay fees.
