Results on the 17th????

    Hey !! I am from waterford and some teachers in my school are saying that the results will be announced on the 17th not the 10th of September. Does anyone know if that's true or not??? Doesn't sound right to me.......

    No the department published the 10th so that is when they will be released.

    Just curious, can you give a link to that info??

    The SEC website just states "mid September"

    I must admit the 10th sounded very early to me when I heard it, but all the discos are on that date so it must be then!
    I haven't seen anything official (from the SEC) that says the date either way, though I could probably find out tomorrow for sure.

    Hey!! I found some info on SEC website. If you go to www.examinations.ie and then press 2008 RESULTS >>> CLICK HERE and then type in your exam number (if you remember it:p:p) and your PIN and press login they will tell you that results will be available on the 10th at 3:55!! BINGO!!:cool:

    on the website examnation.ie,it says results r out on the 10th @ 3.55 does dat mean that u obtain ur results at that time?

    Yes. Though you mightn't get it at exactly that time, depends on your school.

    Yeah it varies between schools, Im getting mine at 11,
    Some schools have to wait til the end of the day!

    Unfortunately not. It's 3.55pm.
    The results are always released later online than 'in real life'.
