What are your thoughts on this?

It's basically a search engine which you can have on any page, which returns objects rather than results. You type in special commands like:

"Map Dublin and Email to John" which will email a map of dublin to the contact John in your gmail/yahoo address book

You should be able to "lookup flights to New York from Dublin, Ireland" etc, but for the most part these commands are not hooked up to the approriate APIs and most just do a google search. The possibilities are fairly endless though.

You can write your own custom APIs and commands

I've been playing with it since last week; it's a nice extension and while limited at the moment it has a LOT of potential. I've already found it useful for exchange rates and other bits and pieces.
