Nice shots there Dave, have a look through them and take out three or four of (what you think are the weakest ones and tell us why) 2, 4, 5 and 7 would be my choices as they show a good all round look to somebody who hasnt seen any Boxing. Number 5 is a bit hot on his face but overall very good. I like the shots looking up through the ropes too.

On the night I would have taking 200 shots and these 7 plus a few more would have been the pick of the bunch. I found it very challenging the reasons been 1 no external Flash I had to use pop up Flash, 2 the only lens I have is the 18-200 vr, 3 when using the flash i was getting a lot of bounce from the ropes because of the height difference between the hall floor and the ring floor in the end I got an old paint bucket to stand on this made a difference because I was able to shot in between the ropes but i nearly ended up with the boxers on top of a couple of times. But I was happy with the shots I did end up with and it was a great experience and those boxers can move very quick.

Of the 7 shots I posted
1 I would have liked to get all of both boxers in the frame and a bit more light in the shot,
3 A good action shot but to blurred.
4 His face says it all but the back ground would be better out of focus.
5 Again all of him in the frame would make a better shot.
