Visited the West Coast of Scotland the other week (Iona, Staffa, Mull, Skye) but the weather was terrible.

Any constructive criticism welcomed but dont slam the border - i like it...

Both very nice especially the second one. I find the lighthouise to be a little too central in the frame though.

Very nice. I would definitely be tempted to remove the.... "thing" in number 1 though (on the right) either by cropping or cloning. And I like the border, but think the black part is too thick. Just my opinion...

    Nice pics.

I too think the black could be narrower.

I hate black borders on stuff like this, so well done for choosing white it looks much better.

Number two is beautiful, great composition (rule of thirds) and the lighthouse detail looks great. Fantastic it looks directly off a postcard.

Number 1 was okay, but to me the range of light didn't suit, the arches were too blown out, and the archway was very dark after 1/2 way.
Also the little car on the RHS takes away from the 'mirror' effect

I know it is hard to get right, but maybe HDR blend if you shot in raw?
