    Hi there,
I'm hoping to go fraughan picking this autumn and heard that they grow somewhere near Powerscourt. I was wondering if anybody knows exactly where they grow and when is the best time to pick?I'm living in South Dublin and all info/directions would be greatly appreciated!

There are usually lots of Fraughens on the sides of the roads going towards Lough Dan from Roundwood village. I am not sure what time of year the growing season is.
Be careful on the narrow roads.

Fraughan is the old Irish name for wild bilberries or blueberries according to Google..:D

Thanks-always good to learn something new!
Wanted to go blackberry picking myself but I've been told they've gone mouldy with all the rain...
