Tramore at Night

This one was taken last week when I got a chance to nip into Tramore. Were a few difficulties, namely keeping the tripod still in the strong blustery wind and the moisture coming from the spray from the sea. Not really happy with the results - overcast sky and the fact that I left it too late meant I couldn't get any detail in the sky..

Nicely exposed and for these kind of shots I think I prefer the black sky.

It's very central in the frame though.

Not bad, how about a landscape version of it?

I'm also curious how it was taken...from a boat or just the beach when the tide was out?

I'd crop across the top so the wheel is exactly halfway up the frame, otherwise I like it.

Taken when the tide was out (well, actually on it's way back in) - still got wet feet though!

Nice shot, though I'd prefer a bit of colour in the sky.

BTW, the posted image isn't showing up in the forum, the link works though

Thanks for that - have fixed that up - I had re-upped the image to Flickr (cropped some of the sky out) so should be ok now!
