How do I share files between computers on the same network?

Ok so I have a new laptop running leopard and an old PC running vista home premium....I have about 40GB of media I want to transfer from my PC to my laptop. How do I go about doing this through my network? BTW my laptop is connected wirelessly and my PC is connected via ethertnet

Have a go at this. There is a handy tutorial on that site, I've never used MacOS but I had a read through it and, it looks like it might just work.
