Tomorrow i've gotta do 2 exams (and another 5 more over the next 4 days).
I'm under prepared. I'm just not feeling good about it. I can't think properly. I just feel absolutely ****. I've gotta pass all my exams and if i fail even a single one of them i'll hafta end up repeating the whole damn year again or worse could get kicked out of college.

I don't have a clue how on earth i'll end up passing 7 exams in just 4 days.
This whole year has been quite a disaster for me. I can say it has been the worst and the most unproductive year of my life so far. I have failed every exam i've written and my confidence of passing these ones is dwindling too.

I am used to such pressures but this time around it just feels unreal. If i don't pass, i'll end up disappointing my whole family. I don't know how i'ld feel going back into the same class again while everyone else has moved a year above me (though one thing i know is its not gonna feel great!). Then there's even a good chance after my dreadful performance this year, i could even get kicked out of my college which would be my absolute nightmare.

Aah, i just feel stick in this **** hole. I wanna finish the damn course and get out of it as soon as i can, i don't wanna repeat the year, i don't wanna end up getting kicked out of the college and go around searching for other options again. Its just absolute hell!!!

I've gotta be up by 6am tomorrow to study for my exams the couple of hours before it starts. I don't know **** and i've gotta pass it. I don't know how i'm gonna do it... If i fail this, any of those terrible things can happen to me. Am i destined to end up a major screw up?!!!

Aah, i don't even know whats the point of me rambling on here. I just needed to let out some steam!!!

Its okay. You can do this, the best thing you can do right now is to get an early night and get up early tomorrow like you said.
I've been there so I know how you feel and its the worst feeling in the world, but at the end of the day , if you fail there are more important things in life. If you want it bad enough you will repeat the year if needs be and hold your head up. Best of luck.

Calm down OP - they're just exams!!! You'll stress yourself out so much that you'll be stressed in the exams and mess up or worse make yourself sick - i used to be like this and generally did crap in exams. All you can do is give it your best shot tomorrow. If you pass great but are you still going to be as stressed and feeling under prepared for the next year in college? If fail and have to repeat the year so what - you'll have an edge of other students and it'll take some of the pressue off and you'll be better prepared for the exams next time around. It takes more guts to repeat than to walk away imo. Have you spoken to your family about how you feel about the exams and the pressure you're under? - I'm sure they just want what's best for you!

    Good luck tomorrow!

Get off the Internet now and start studying.

I had half a dozen repeats last week felt the same as you do now as its then you realise that if you **** up its another year.

You just have to sit down and study, all night if you have to and so on for the rest of the week because whats one week of being exhausted & tired when you will be in college in your year.

Get the coffee going, forget the Internet & get your head together and get down to it, theres no other way.

Meh, turn off your computer and get absolutely hammered, you'll wake up in the morning and everything will be fine.

Just remember that exams reward application above all else - that is the ability to do as much while in the exam as possible. Exams do no assess your intelligence. They do not even assess completely your level of preparation, as one can do excellently with the bare minimum prepared if the questions fall right. What is written in the two or three hours in the exam is the only arbiter of how someone will do. This means that you should slog your guts out in the exam. You cannot get marks outside the exam hall, so if you leave early or whatever you cannot improve your position, so leave everything you have on the exam paper. The marker can mark the paper only and cannot legislate for your potential or 'what might have been', so it is up to you to do as much as you can in your own favour.

Forget about what is not done - no point looking back and wondering what might have been. Anything that you worry about but cannot change is an energy-sapper, and 'why didn't we do this ages ago' type people should be avoided. Just concentrate on what you can do now.

Remember that passing exams in reasonably easy if you can make a decent stab at every question - but that is the key. In my experience, the exams I have struggled in are generally ones where I bombed completely in one question. Assuming the questions are of equal marks it is very very difficult to claw back one stinker of a question especially if you are struggling a bit in the entire exam.

So if you are cramming, avoid "over-preparing" for some questions while ignoring others because cramming will take you only so far in any question and will probably not take you to a level which can compensate for total disaster in another question. In a three question exam - 33.3% per question, the failure to pick up any marks in one question leave someone needing 60% in the others to just get 40% overall, and 60% per cent per question - while not extraordinary by any means in the broad scheme of things - is not really a crammer's mark especially in an exam that requires analysis and discussion. Even to get just 20% of the marks in the 'poor' question, reduces the requirement for the other question to just 50% for an overall pass which is much more achievable. The importance of picking up marks from as many sources as possible is huge.

If you are reading this then steer clear of the internet as it eats up valuable time.

And if the exams don't work out and you have to repeat, be assured that a few years down the road it won't matter a whit, so keep it in perspective. The main thing is to avoid being in such a situation again.
