Here's the last thread on the topic (the "Search This Forum" button is your friend):

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055300611&highlight=radiation+therapy

As you can see, though, no one here could offer much in the way of personal experience. Your best bet might be to PM the two people in that thread who said they were hoping to start doing it this year and see what they think of it.

Its a small course and hard to get into but highly rewarding. A good friend of mine is in 3rd year in the course and he loves it. Being one of the few guys in his year also helps;)

I did a wee bit of work experience last week in the area, looks really interesting but im not sure if its for me.

Also (this not being my reason) its a field that seems to be dominated by women :pac: maybe not such a bad thing:P

I think I'll just stick to Science.

Smart female collegues, killing cancer and a bit of complicated pharmacology, physics, chemistry and maths, oh and you get your own cadaver. Sounds pretty sweet for those smart enough to be able to get the points or do the work.

    Smart female collegues,

    Oxymoron, no?:pac:

They do make the course sound quite appealing, the talk for Radiography (along with much better job prospects :)) in UCD was more interesting.

    Dunno what I'll do............

    Science it is then!
