Can't believe I missed this first time around. Loved every minute. How many episodes are there? Six?

Yes very good stuff. It's a four-parter and I think Conor McPherson was involved in it as well as the director of Pure Mule, Declan Recks.

Having watched Whistlerblower on RTE One followed by this on TG4, I am still confussed as to how RTE can get it so terribly wrong.

The Running Mate moved along nicely, it was paced with excellent dialogue and great acting.

Whisleblower on the other and was slow and had very little to say about a such a strong true story. The acting was good but suffered because of the lack of script.

I will watch the end of Whistleblower tonight, I hope it improves.

I have to continue to with The Running Mate on TG4, as I did get to see the last two episodes last time round.

I am sure both are now available online www.tg4.tv and www.rte.ie/live

    www.tg4.tv ftw!!!
Check out the The Running Mate, Seacht, Aifric, Paddywhackery and Ros na Run (four best homemade shows on any channel).

The Running Mate, beats any RTÉ mini-series hands down (and I've only seen one episode).

Seacht is pretty much Skins set in Ireland, but it's so much better than Skins.

Watch Aifric and compare it to any teenage comedy nowadays (ie. Drake and Josh etc.) and you'll see this show brings in another level of clever writing.

Starring Paddy C. Courtney and Frank Kelly, Paddywhackery is the funniest Irish comedy ever made (bear in mind Father Ted is a British made comedy).

Ros na Run is realistic, dramatic and funny and gives Fair City a right hole-kicking. Again decent writers and talented actors make this show what it is.
