    Anyone else seen it?

Have to say I quite enjoyed it, on scene in particular had me laughing at it about five minutes after it happened, I had tears in my eyes from laughing so much.

No real plot to speak of, just a lot of gags and jokes, some good, some crap, some occaisional moments of genius.

it's a pleasure watching ferrell and reilly act opposite each other, they look like they're having so much fun

head to see it if you want to laugh for 90 minutes, and leave the brain at the door, you'll enjoy it better that way

I saw it too, it was very enjoyable.

It is your standard Will Ferrell/John Reilly affair, you'll laugh, alot, but the movie won't leave any lasting impressions on you.

Wouldn't hurt to see with a few drinks on you.

Looking forward to seeing it this week, I thought Semi Pro and Ricky Bobby had their moments.

Seen it last night and though I am not a huge Will Ferrell fan I thought it was a good movie, as was already said a lot of the jokes are hit and miss and as with a lot of these movies it runs out of steam towards the end but if you want a comedy film with cheap laughs you could do a lot worse.

It was funny. Ah you need a stupid, braindead movie every now and again that makes you laugh.

I'm Looking forward to watching Step Brothers, I'm a big fan of John C. Reilly and while I'm tiring of Will Ferell I still have high hopes for the film.

Watching the new John C. Reilly and Sean William Scott film, The Promotion and really enjoying it.

    Excellent movie.
I am a big Will fan though.
There is loads of good one liners.
It seems like everyone is quoting it already.

    The last line
"IT's okay that mine's not movie quality!"
had me laughing until I left the cinema!

I saw it last night and nearly wet myself laughing, the ending is absolutely classic:
Will Ferrell as a lumber jack breaking the door down with an axe, announcing that he has travelled five hundred miles to deliver his seed then ripping the girls dress off with one hand
    LMFAO :D

Overall too many good quotes to remember but here are a few of my favourites:
You have the voice of an angel. I mean, it's like a cross between Fergie and Jesus.
This house is a fúcking prison! On planet bullshít! In the galaxy of this sucks camel dicks!
I have a belly full of white dog crap, and now you lay this shít on me?

I seen it about 6 weeks ago or so abroad and I couldn't stop laughing at some of the scenes. Some very hit annd miss moments throughout but it's definitely worth seeing. If Ferrell and O'Reilly isn't your thing it is worth getting to watch on DVD.

Really really really wanted to try and get into this by leaving my brain outside the door but just couldn't!Got a couple of chuckles out of it alright with a couple of scenes but everything in between really didn't do anything. John C. Reilly needs to be carried along by ferrell as his comic work isn't worth much. Just my opinion though, maybe just wasn't in the mood for it like others were so be gentle with the abuse!

Maybe I was just bitter about about paying in to see it!

Saw this last night, and judging by the crappy reviews it's getting, I was a bit apprehensive! But it was a complete giggle-fest, lots of LOL moments!!
    Was pleasantly surprised!

watched this myself there last night and was in stitchs throughout. I like Farrells brand of comedy, and also movies produced by Judd Apatow, so it was no wonder I ended up liking this.

Farrell did steal the show, John C. Reilly was playing a backseat role and I can't remember anything he said being particularly funny.

I won't be quoting any of the hilarious lines though, as that, imo, is what killed Anchorman. I can't hear someone say "I love lamp" now without gritting my teeth in anger.

I was hugely disapointed by this film. I'm a pretty big Ferrell fan, but this movie lacked any kind of heart while the supposed "great one liners" you all refer to left me cold. The two funny bits in the film, when the bunk bed collapses and the Fergie line, were both spoiled for me by the trailers. All in all, despite a handful of chucklesome moments, I found this movie quite tedious. If you can't create a hilarious comedy romp when pairing Ferrell and Reilly together, something is seriously up. It would appear the Ferrell era is drawing to a close.

Don't get me wrong, it was quite funny, but it seemed to me that this style of humour is old hat at this stage. Long live Seth Rogen!

Most comedians are one trick ponies. Eventually people are going to get bored of Farrells brand of comedy. I personally haven't yet. Seth Rogan is the same, he plays the same character in all his movies, its just we haven't seen enough of him yet to be bored of it.

Also... "heart" is not something I like to see in comedies, I hate when they have to end on some moral high ground which ends up not being funny at all (i.e. Scrubs, Knocked Up). This movie, while having to come to some conclusion, did so in a manner very similar to Anchorman, where it was only touched on but didn't detract from the comedy sketch layout of the scenes.

But comedy is not something you can explain to someone else, it either tickles your funny bone or it doesn't. I know when I mentioned I had seen this movie in work there where a few groans at the mere mention of a movie with Will Farrell in it.
