I'm looking for the cheapest surround sound option for watching movies on the 360 and watching TV. I don't want to go over €80, something under €50 would be great. I'm not interested in optical output or anything fancy like that. I see people are getting speakers for €300+ which I don't think is worth it at all.

I don't think it's possible to get true surround sound out of the 360 without optical. You're only going to have 5 speakers omitting the same sound, or double stereo at best without it.

Your best bet is to keep an eye on adverts.ie for something suitable. Even secondhand, you might be struggling for €80.

I saw a set of Sony Speakers for €40 in PC World with a 3.5mm putput. I recon they would of done me.
