Photographers . . . everywhere!!

    Hi,

    I was just wondering has anyone else had any random experiences in meeting photographers in the oddest places. This always happens to me and they always turn out to be really great people that are so passionate about photography and all they want to do is share what they know. Personally being new enough to it a find it great that there is so many people around willing to help.

    The most memorable experience was when i was looking for a camera lens shop in dublin, i only wanted to ask them what lens they would recommend. Being from kildare i rang 11850 to find out some places in dublin. The 11850 operator happened to be big into photography and offered me loads of helpful advice, from what lens would be best for what i needed to where to buy it and how much it would cost, what he used himself and some of his own experiences with it. The call ended up costing me a fortune lol but i found it very helpful.

    All in all its a great community to be involved in and i hope a few others have had as good an experience with others as i have :D

    Hay Perfect fit....

    Before l bought my SRL, only 2 months ago & l took notice of very little in Dublin. :(
    Now all l see is photographer's and camera's & whats going on.

    Boards.ie is so full of helpfull people and camera shops are like, face to face photography advice centre's for nubie's like me....:rolleyes:
