I've been searching around for a while and I'm having difficulty locating a range of kitchen dressers.

Can anybody recommend a supplier for these.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

Ideally I'm looking for this sort of thing.....

Strawbridge.ie (I think is address, but google and you'll get it) have something like that. Their stuff is also on furniture.ie
Their stuff is nice - you can get it in various paint colours and they are based in Wicklow (I think). 12 week wait though and stuff is made from pine or not v. solid timber....depends whether you are going for the 'look' which they certainly have, or need something very sturdy..... My mother got them - they look fab and work with her 'concept' (as my father calls it) but local carpenter who was installing them said that they weren't made of very good stuff. That's the other thing - you'll have to get them fitted youself - although a dresser should just come in two bits....depends if you are DIY enough to stick it together.
Am I allowed to post names of sites like this? Apologies if not.

Rathwood Home and Garden World Tullow Co Carlow

They have a big range in the instore catalogue. They're quality is very good. This is not a free add for them. I have no connection to them but bought a dresser many years ago and still love it. Give the a ring and tell them what you are looking for.

Thanks to both of you. I really like the look of the Strawbridge stuff. You have the option to have it simply assembled and sanded, hand painted or sprayed. I think I'll go with the 'raw' version and that way I can select the colour that matches the rest of the kitchen. I prefer the hand painted look so I'll do it myself.

BTW, the guy I spoke to in Strawbridge was very helpful and I'll take a trip down to Wicklow either this weekend or the following one.

Once again many thanks. Another quandary solved by Boards.ie!

Glad to be of assistance....I've got a bit from boards in the last while so it's good to give something back!
Good luck with the dresser - hopefully I'll be at that stage in a couple of months.

I'd say it's the same, by the look of it. They sell in a few different outlets - Pattersons kitchens in Galway and Town and Country in Athleague, Co. Roscommon. BTW if you haven't been to Town and Country and like that kind of look - it is fabulous. Was there for the first time myself at the weekend...a day out.
