Nuts TV(channel 207 on SKY), are showing this with coverage starting at 19:00 and the main event at 21:00.

I think it'll be close again but Valuev will have enough to edge another decision against Ruiz. Seeing as the WBA love Ruiz though a loss may not be the last we see of Johnny and fingers crossed we could get a trilogy here

This is going to be one of those fights which will be just about passable to watch live but knowing the result you'd never watch it.

Jesus, it must be a pretty miserable pub if you find the thoughts of Ruiz and Valuev in another hugging fest for 12 rounds as unmissable.

This is a fight that should be PPV, where they actually pay the viewers to watch it!

Semi interesting scrap on the undercard with former British champ Scott Gammer out of retirment to fight the unbeaten Francisco Pianeta.

Pianeta was on one of Dunne's undercards last year and was apparently pretty dreadful and lucky to win but maybe it was an off night becuase he's had a couple of decent results since so will be interesting to see if he's any good. Gammer is always game and has a decent workrate but he's quite limited and not a puncher. Reminds me of Martin Rogan in a lot of ways.

Gammer used to be always game but against John McDermott he seemed ridiculously unmotivated, he just let McDermott beat him despite being a much more talented fighter. It's worrying that he's coming out of retirement of that loss and it's no surprise that he's doing so to fight in Germany(where he'll be very well paid). Gammer is a nice record that allows Pianeta to fight or a title(EU), he's not a serious test. Pianeta isn't too great but he'll be engineered towards a European title or better with German matchmaking.

I'm still asking myself why I put myself through watching that rubbish. Anyways right man won it, don't know where the other Judge got his marks from, but probably in one of Bertie's brown envelopes.
