What's the duck forecast for Monday next?

Are there many about?

I was out last night and the night before checking out a few likely spots and in one spot I put up about 70 mallard and 1 teal in their midst! They hadn't been shot at yet because they didn't venture too far away.

Down on Lough ####### last night and my usual opening morning spot was covered in feathers - enough to fill a pillow:)

Local farmer who owns the land told me there was plenty of them coming in so looking forward to the 1st:D

To be honest pullandbang I had forgot it was nearly duck season, mainly because I dont think iv seen many if any over the last month or so. May take a closer look this weekend and ask around if there has been any seen.

speaking of ducks, quick question... im nearly out of cartridges..

whats the story with buying them when you havnt got your licence sent out to you, can you use the one thats outta date?

well i have enough for tomor but wondering about gettin some for rest of week...
anyway..feckers been keepin me awake for last couple weeks in the mornings...ill be sleeping in tuesday if i have my way tomorrow!!
