Mk4 golf petrol light wont go off

    So was driving yesterday when my petrol light came on. Then this morning out ten euro into it and the needle says quarter full but the petrol light wont go off any ideas?

    TRY PUTTING MORE PETROL IN OR EVEN BETTER FILLING IT TO THE TOP AND SESS WHAT HAPPENS. PETROL IS VERY EXPENSIVE these days and you wont get much for e10. sorry about caps too lazy to type out again

    Them Golf's always do be giving trouble:p

    But ya i'd say you could of been fairly empty on filling. Throw in another bit and see how things go
