    Hi all

    Me and a friend a planning on heading to fureventura or the like in september for a weekend, just wondering what the crowds will be like around that time of year. Will it be very quiet mainly locals? or will there still be a large amount of tourists and buzz about the place??

    depends on what part, te great thing about fuerteventura is it's not too popular a destination compared to the other canary islands cos it's not as developed.
    I've been to Corralejo a few times and loved it cos it's not over run with kids :D and also has apretty decent night life, plus the locals are friendly.

    a word of advice: try learning like, 2 or 3 spnaish phrases or words before you go, most ppl don't bother so when the locals see that you made an effort they appreciate it, free booze, cheaper prices and a few tips on where to go locally and not to go, who knew that a little Por favor and Gracias could get a person so far!!

    enjoy the trip what ever you decide:D
