    Hi folks,

New poster on the golf forum, so please be kind.

I have a mix n' match set since I was a kid, and a set of woods & putter that I'm willing to keep, but want to get a proper set of irons.
I'm able to hit some good shots in a round, but consistency and accuracy is my downfall, and the downfall of many I assume.
For instance, I had a couple of pars yesterday, but also a few nightmare 8,11,12 sort of holes.

I'm not currently a member anywhere (so no H/C), just a green fees as I go (8-10 rounds a year), but am considering distance membership in my hometown, over an hours drive from Galway. If I go that route, I'll hopefully be more inclined to get out and play more frequently.

Basically, I'm looking at the Wilson ci6 set, 3-PW.
From what I can see online & adviec in the shop here in galway, these are a good set to go with for my standard.
I also see them way cheaper online from both the UK & US compared to the shop price, £179 v $199 v €299.
Anybody here had any experience with them, and willing to share it?
Also, if anyone has any recommendations of similar standard irons at a good price, I'm open to other considerations.

    Thanks in advance.

Not much experience of the Ci6 but I have experience of the Pi5 and Di6 Wilson Staff irons. They are good. The Di and Ci should be suitable for any golfer, the Pi's may be a little less forgiving. If you like the look, feel and price of the Ci6s you should go for them. Wilson is a big name anyway with a long history in golf

PS I believe Harrington uses a mix of Pi and Ci irons, take from that what you will, I don't normally pay much attention to what clubs the pros use.
