Hi, just wondering if anyone took this and if so could they tell me there experiences with it. Also when the trial ends do you get pulled into a contract or anything? I just really wanna mess around with it and see how good or bad it is.

    hi,

The free trial will give 1 euro of call credit (if you are in Ireland). Once you've used it (even before if you like), you can sign up for a pay as you go account or a call plan, but if you don't like it, then you're not tied up by anything!

i've set it up on on my nokia e51 as shown here. Says its registered but when i go to make an internet call, there is no option to do so. Is it possible i've done something wrong? I googled the problem and came accross this.

When i got the phone it had firmware version: 100.34.20, in order to upgrade it to the newer firmware (200.34.36) i had to change the product code. I had the option when i first bought the phone so i think its since i upgraded the firmware its disappeared. I've heard downgrading firmware is not a good idea, so any idea's? sorry for rambling!

    I don't know that phone ...

On the blueface page you mentioned, on step 5, above SIP Settings, there seems to be a menu : "Internet Tel. Settings". Do you have that one ?

There is maybe an option there where you would mention to use SIP ...

the only option in there for me is default call type, which i can set to voice call or internet call, but even when i choose internet call it makes no difference. thanks for the reply, hopefully someone else will be able to shed some light on this.

Edit:Figured out the problem, quite stupid really. In settings ->connection->internet tel i had to set blueface as default. They should really add that to there congiration on their site. I was almost getting used to the fact that i'd have to use fring to use blueface, thankfully now i don't!!!
