Upgrading My Natural Gas Boiler Timer to Digital

Hi I just moved into a new house and the Gas boiler has a Analog timer clock.

I was just wondering how easy or hard it would be to swap it for a digital timer.

I had theDanfoss Fp715 programer in mind. Would this do the job. And would it be as easy as just swapping over the exisiting wires from the analog timer to the new digital timer.

    Thanks

Yep - it's that simple. I did the same when I moved house 3 years ago. I bought a Honeywell 2 channel, 3 program, 7 day timer in C&F Quadrant for €64.
