Right lads, heading state side for a couple of weeks, and just wondering whether those "go straight to the top of the cue" passes are worth it in disney, considering summer is pretty much over?
    Any input much appreciated!
    Thanks.

I don't think Disney do top of the queue passes which you can buy. They have Fastpass where you put your ticket in and it gives you a time to come back and skip the queue. Everybody can do this.

Correct! Everyone is entitled to fastpasses, they are free with just a few restrictions. You can only have one Fastpass at a time, you are not entitled to get a new Fastpass until 2 hours after the first one, or else at the start of the return time window printed on your first fastpass, whichever comes first. Not all the rides have Fastpass, but most of the biggies do. It doesn't allow you to the front of the queue so to speak, but it does allow you to enter in to a much shorter queue, usually with little or no waiting.

You don't say when you are going, but Sept/start of Oct is normally Disney's quiet period, so you should be ok. As a rule of thumb, any time that the Amercian kids are at school should be fairly uncrowded at Disney.

they are fantastic. The only thing is that there are a few attractions that run out of fastpasses very quickly
