Shared Parallel Printers?

    Hi,

    Not sure if this is the right forum for this but I'll have a go.

    I installed 4 shared printers on a network today. All printers can be seen on the network fine and they are all part of the same work group. Each printer is connected to a machine and they will all print from their respectively connected machines. However if I try to send a print job from one machine to a different printer, noting will print out.

    When I try to print to one of them it registers in the que as "printing" but noting will print at all.

    Maybe I'm missing something but if anyone knew any troubleshooting tips that would be great.

    Check the Event Viewer (in Control Panel or Computer Management), assuming you are using Windows. Printing jobs and errors should be listed in the "System" events.
