    Hi

Has anyone taught TY maths recently? I have them for the first time and would really like a textbook to follow. They are a mixed ability class so I can't really go back over junior cert stuff or head towards leaving cert material.

I have a friend who teaches LCa maths applications......does anyone know if this sort of stuff would appeal to all ability levels in TY?

    Anyone ideas greatly appreciated

I usually just try some lc material depending on their ability and a nice slow pace too, nothing too dramatic.

tell them get text and texts 3 as it will also do them for the leaving if doing ordianry and the vast majority do it anyway so it would be no harm. do the chapters that have where most of it has been done in jc such as trig, area and volume, stats, algebra, functions and graphs and geometry. also maby a taste of the harder chapters such as calculus and probability. take it at a nice pace. there only going backwards with stuff from jc and lca.
