    Folks,

How would I know if my cert has been submitted by the electrician for power to be connected to my house? Could I call up quoting the MPRN number and ask if the cert has gone in?

I would think a quick phone call should get you the answer.

The cert has to be return to RECI or ECSSA ( which ever your contrator is registered with) the regulating body , they activate it on ESB networks computer. If there is any problem with the cert they will send it back to the contractor to correct it .

If u have a house that u want to divide up into two flats one upstairs one downstairs do u have to get two new connections from the ESB and do u have to pay for each connection. What is the cost roughly?

    Thanks in advance for replies
