Eurolines to the UK - passport needed?

    hi,

    im getting one of them trips to london on bus eirean and i was wondering do i need to bring my passport. i dont look or sound foreign. the girl in the bus depo in dublin said no but then a bus driver said yes. they both seemed to be lost so i was wondering does anyone here know?

    Passports are required for travel to all countries except the United Kingdom. (However, you should note that some airlines now require photo-ID for flights to the UK). With the exception of travel to the U.K., Irish citizens require a valid passport for travel to all other destinations in the E.U.


    So you don't need a passport, but should you be asked for ID then it's pretty handy to have.

    Photo ID. Passport / Drivers License. They may take other forms too such as bus passes etc.. but depends on Bus Éireann's policy if they have any.
