    hi,
I want to start looking for some primary subbing, but dont really know where to start with my cv. I have worked as an archaeologist since i finished college, and I've got no experience in teaching. What are they looking for in a cv, will a good cover letter be good enough if you've got no relevant experience?

It might be a good idea to get some work experience in a school first, just helping in a classroom for a week or two, if you are concerned about not having relevant experience.

Otherwise, just explain on your cover letter what you have done up to this point and that you intend to apply for a postgrad course. The cover letter is very important. If a school is desperate for a sub they won't be too concerned about how much experience you have, so long as you meet the minimum subbing requirements and are trustworthy. So just start sending out CVs, or even better, calling into schools with your CV. There mightn't be too much subbing work in Sept but it'll get busy in October. Good luck!
