With one min to go and at 510euro I typed in 531.50 as my max bid...Went to confirm bid, but as I confirmed bid I noticed there was a typo of 53,150 as my max bid...Talk about screaming at screen!!!!:eek::eek:

Its a bit much more than my sister in law can afford, hence the max bid of 531.50euro.....What would be the situation with Dell as to retracting the offer. This happen to anyone?

On the laptops side of things, it's not the best spec'd m1330 i've seen for the price unfortunately. Not bad by any means, but still not the greatest deal. If you'd like i can move this over to online buying and auctions forum where you'd probably get a better response to the second question?

Since the auction has ended, you can't retract. You can only contact the seller and ask if they will cancel the sale, they could then offer to the next highest bidder. If they won't do this, you can simply not pay, but you'll get a strike from eBay for this, and Dell outlet may refuse all future bids from you.
