Soak test is used by engineers to monitor troublesome zones. Applying soak test to a zone results in the zone becoming none reporting. When the system is set, the soaked zones activity will not trigger the alarm system, but will be logged in the system log. The zone returns to its normal status after a pre-determined period i.e. 7 days.
