Where did you manage to come across that! It's a commercial panel so does not have most of the standard features/connections that a domestic panel would have.
It looks like it's a composite connection but with a BNC connector(see below).
Therefore you would need a phono to BNC adaptor to get the picture to the screen. Probably need a scart adaptor also to get a composite feed from the back of the sky box.

    Available from peats, maplins, etc.

I would doubt it has speakers or a tuner so you will need a seperate system to handle the audio?

    Hope that helps.

I got it off a lad who's just bought a sony bravia 42" 1080p. Very nice too.. Don't know where he got it tbh.
I've got an amplifier/dvd player, so that's ok. Just a pair of phono's to the sky box yeah?
I bought a BCN to Scart lead but I'm getting nothing...
There's 9 BCN connectors on the back, namely
    VD
    HD
    B
    G
    R
Y/C[2pins C and Y, look like their coupled]
Video[2pins IN and OUT,look like their coupled too]
I've tried all but to no avail.....

Hmmm.. I would have thought that either the y/c (better known as s video) or the "video" connectors would have worked? This would be the preffered connection.
Is the y/c connector a 4 pin din?
    300px-SVideoConnector.jpg
I presume you tried a connection from video out on sky box and converted to bnc and went to video in on the panel?

Where are you located? Just in case?!

    Sorry for the delay..
The Y/C connectors are 2 seperate bnc connectors, labelled Yand C.
I tried a scart from the tv output on the sky box, which converts to a single bnc jack, and that didn't work on any input on the flatscreen, including video in!! Can't figure it out..
    I'm in cork btw Homer

This one would work for the RGB-2 connection on the left side of that photo ,

    http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?TabID=1&criteria=usb&ModuleNo=37141&doy=search&C=SO&U=Strat15

Alternatively , get one of these ,

    http://www.tvcables.co.uk/cgi-bin/tvcables/RGBS-SCART-ADAPTER.html

And some phono to bnc changeover plugs

    http://www.tvcables.co.uk/cgi-bin/tvcables/scan/fi=products/st=db/co=yes/sf=category/se=Phono%20to%20BNC/op=eq/sf=prod_group/se=Cable%20Adapters/op=eq.html?id=SMsnjppA

The second option allows you to connect to the RGB and S connectors.

So i've the laptop connected to the monitor as i speak via 15 pin VGA cable.
Switched graphics to monitor from laptop, all i'm getting is NO SNYC on the RGB2 screen.
Could the monitor be broken? It will be soon because i'll throw it out the window..
    Any advice appreciated.

    Hi there,

Have you tried the "video in" BNC? That would be the first one I would try using a scart and converting to BNC at the TV end for sky signal.
Not sure about the PC issue but the fact it is not labeled as VGA might mean it is looking for a different type of signal which RGB is for sure.
You may need a VGA to RGB convertor!

All this hassle, but at least the screen didn't cost too much eh :p

    We'll get there eventually. Perseverance!

Could the pixel ratio be the issue? The manfacturer's plate says 640x480, my intel driver doesn't support this.
I've googled a few graphics drivers and it seems this ratio is rare these times.
I bought this in Maplins today
    www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?KW-1440EX
When i connect that, like the Laptop input, the screen says OUT OF RANGE
I know i've probably bought the wrong thing, my own fault,he wasn't to know my pixel ratio is almost extinct.
    They didn't stock Mathias' suggestions.
    My head hurts....:o

As the error says , it must have a sync , that is why I linked to a Syncblaster VGA cable which has the extra sync line attached.

Your best bet if maplin here dont stock a certain item, is to order online , they will take a couple of days to get here.

    Cheers Mathias.
    Have you ordered from TVCables.co.uk?
    Their shipping stinks at £9.01.

I havnt ordered from them no , but I have ordered from the Maplins online store , which is fine and reasonable enough for shipping.

Just looking through some old stuff.
I got it working eventually on "video in" using a BNC-Phono converter, then a 3.5mm Phono-Scart converter into Sky box.
I had been using an input Scart converter as opposed to an output at the Sky box.:o
She resides on my buddies wall on a Sky+ box/Sony surround sound.
Thanks again for all the answers!
