We are looking for someone to bring a bit of "YELLOW" to our band.

Current Instruments: Guitar, Drums, Electric Bass, Double Bass, Violin, Keyboards, Bongo, Melodica and Multiple Voices,

Wanted Instruments: LEAD GUITAR*, Trumpet, Synths, banjo, flute, piccolo, harp....ANYTHING really....the more unusual the better!

We've got some great songs lined up so far. They've really developed over the past few months. However we really need a lead guitarist.

The music is sometimes rocky, sometime poppy. Melodic most of the times with clever use of lyrics. List of influences are down below.

****If YOU are a MULTI-TALENTED MUSICAL GENIOUS EX CHILD PRODIGY then we'd love to hear from you.

*****If YOU LOVE music and want to experiment with playing with a cool band then we'd love to hear from you.

****If YOU can play lead guitar then we'd love to hear from you!

****If YOU are a hotshot from SONY and are looking for the next big thing then we'd love to hear from you!

*We are really in need of a guitarist. Our first guy was great but moved away and we just have haven't found anyone else who fits the bill.

***--INFLUENCES--***Jangly guitars, hammond organs, melodicas, handclaps, the use of overdrive, harmonies, catchy choruses, surprising middle 8ths, clever lyrics, brass, thoughtful arrangements. Trendy scandanavian bands. trendy canadian bands. less trendy 80s pop (e.g. listening to that song "Choclate Girl" by Deacon Blue a lot recently), the white album, neil young unplugged, early rem, pavement, yo la tengo, caetano veloso, teenage fanclub, stereolab, J-pop, stax, trojan records, lo-fi, psychedelic pop/rock, the colour blue, Paul Auster, phil spector, Ulrich Schnauss, underdogs in general, breakfast cereal, smoothies, scrambled eggs, Rioja, Guiness, Houellebecq, Bret Elis, Rick Moody...................to name but a few=)

I've been playing lead a good 6 years now, have my own gear, and can sing reasonably well, would love to join in the experimentation :G
