    There is a crowd of us going to longford this weekend and one of the lads has booked us into the anvil bar b & b.was told today its not hectic/bit of a kip.im not too pushed where i stay its only 2 nights(think its fairly cheap) but a few of the lads aint happy.anyone every stay there or know what its like

    Never stayed in it, but bar a bit clickish and pub is indeed a bit of a kip. Not somewhere I'd go drinking in a hurry.

    Carrs Bar on Earl Street opened recently and have some nice rooms. Not sure of prices though here's the number for anyone interested 043 36998 . Can say they are very nice indeed been shown around and would reccomend it.

    stayed in the anvil it did the job .it was only one nite so was only in the room for a few hours.its fairly rough but for €30 it was as good as can be expected
