tried most of them, used to do 1500m and wasnt horrific but was just too heavy. No way I could compete with the 65kg guys. Tried the 100m but Im only good at endurance racing. Tried rowing too and had some success at that.
Like the suggestions though. Keep 'em coming!
Sports not involving skill would be a bit better for me, Ive got big lungs and weight going for me, but no hand eye coordination

triathlon? sounds like you are looking for endurance based sports where being heavy isn't an issue?

Swimming is the only one I can think of, but triathlons lets you combine various sports and maybe see which ones you like and suit you.

Javelin is dominated by North-Europeans so might have some talent for that. No-one else seems to be doing this sport here.

Good point, he has the right build too at 6'1'', 90kgs but his lack of speed could be a problem. I'd say rowing, big and good at endurance is a heavyweight rower I'd say.

Rugby. Ideal build for a number of positions, great social outlet, and a challenge.

Rowings a good suggestion but just finished with that sport.

Have a couple of rower friends who tried triathlons in the off-season for a laugh and were ranked in the top 10 in Ireland.

Javelin suggestions pretty good, gonna look into it.
Kayaking too was suggested to me today.

if you were able to read a map alright, liked running and liked the outdoors you could try orienteering. www.orienteering.ie/faq helps explain all the jazz.

    Or you could play jazz

Hey man you should definitely come try lacrosse.. We train on the 11-a-side pitches next to the astro cages Mondays from 4.45-6.00 and Thursday 8.45-10.00.... We have lots of beginners this year and it pretty easy to pick it up... You should just come along watch even if you don't wanna play... and our tours abroad are always epic... and this years one is going to be our biggest yet
