Is it possible to change the name on a booking via aerlingus?

Their useless customer care line has taken forever and still no response.

Could someone please tell me whether it is possible to change the name on a ticket, flight for one? It's not for another 2 weeks?

I think it's 70 euro. You have to ring them to do it.

They'll refund your taxes, minus an administration charge that probably equates to the amount of your taxes, making it pointless.

Have a read of the T&Cs of your booking.

I am fuming at the moment. I booked 8 people in last week and need to change one name. €100 to change a name FFS. I mean its a 10 second job. aerlingus are a shower of cnuts. Tought i'd never say this but I'll be booking with Rynair from now on. At least with them you'd expect to be screwed.

BTW my flight is 2 weeks aswell

everyone form tour operaters to airlines charge this , it aint just aer lingus, cuts out the people who want to change every minute.

You could always change your name by deed poll probably cheaper and easier.

Alternatively check the travel board.
