Refund from cancelled order

    Long story short
    1. Bought item from online store
    2. Credit card charged next day
    3. Cancelled my order, (advertised shipping in 24hours, 7 days later item still hadn't shipped)
    4. Received my refund on to my credit card, except it was €1+ short.

Now I know it's only €1, but I received no goods or service from them, why should I have to pay them. They are a UK company however the site gives the option to display prices in Euros. I'm guessing that my refund is less due to exchange rates, however I think this is very unfair. Do I have any rights?

Fluctuations in the exchange rates of currencies is the price you pay for buying abroad. If a company takes $50 from you for an item, then days later refunds that same $50, you take the hit if the exchange rate goes against you.

You can call you CC company and they'll refund the difference.

Just don't call them if the difference goes your way ;)
