Parking Tickets - Getting away with it

    Hey, not sure if this is the right thread for this, if its not can someone move it. Thanks.

    I was just reading this article : http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/1752927.stm,

    And then found this site : http://www.parkingticket.co.uk/em.html.

    Its about getting let off parking tickets because of technicalities in the layout of single and double yellow lines. For example, if double yellow lines are not terminated with a T, then their not legally valid etc.

    This is in the UK, but I was wondering if similiar laws apply here?

    Saw that on TV a while back. Doesn't seem to apply here. Bear in mind that I would imagine the majority of people who get a ticket here are actually clamped in parking bays!
