Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Friend of mine has just gotten pregnant and was thinking of getting her a pressie of a 3D scan or whatever you call them. Have any of you boardsie's gotten one done? What was it like? Was it worth it? Any good/bad experiences in Dublin... Many thanks for your input

No experience of them yet, have my appointment booked for mine though!

They say the best time is between 22-32 weeks.

It can cost anything between 190-250 depending on where you go (these were quotes I got).

I think it's a good idea especially if you want to find out the sex of the baby and the hospital can't tell you.

I had one done in MD Ultrasound off Grafton Street. It was good fun, we got loads of pictures and a DVD. They even asked if we wanted any particular shots (hands, face, girl/ boy bits etc) and we were there an hour. Well worth it.

A friend of mine got one done and i thought it was absolutely amazing. Her husband has a dimple in his chin and guess what...so did the baby..it was that clear! If you want a surprise then dont do it, but the pics and dvd that she got are literally one-in-a-lifetime. How cool would it be now to see what you looked like before you were born?:)
